The method of coherence measuring can be converted for it practical application via different technical variants. The supplier's type descriptions are called: "SAM.2", "SAM.3" and "SAM.4" (The "Status Analysis Monitor" of the first technological generation, "SAM.1", is no longer available.)

SAM.2 consists of many components. Included in the set:
-   1 data recorder for the wrist
-   1 cable for the connection with the computer
-   1 software pack for normal retail computers
SAM.2 functions only in combination with computers and an accompanying monitor.

SAM.3 is a compact device, which functions self-sufficiently. Its form is similar to that of a cell phone.

SAM.4 s a compact device, which functions self-sufficiently. Its form is similar to that of a digital wrist watch in an athletic design.

From a technical standpoint, it is possible to integrate the SAM.x method into already existing products as an additional function, for instance:
-   into multi-functional wrist watches (with heart rate measuring, ...) or
-   into armchairs or mats for magnet field therapy
