The data recorder has the format of a cigarette packet. There are 2 chips and a battery in the casing. Along with the device comes a cable for the connection with the computer as well as assessment software. The device is fastened to the wrist.
Physical conductivity is measured. There are two ways of doing this: online as well as offline readings. For online readings there is a cable connection to a computer. For offline readings the data is downloaded onto a computer at a later stage. Graphics appear on the monitor. These show the assessment of the measurement results. There are several different kinds of displays.
